Arizona State University Doctor of Medicine

Doctor of Medicine Acceptance Rate

The Arizona State University Doctor of Medicine program provides you with an excellent opportunity to meet the set standards for various health professional courses such as dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. It is estimated that more than 375 former students of ASU have been accepted to medical schools in the past five years. Additionally, as of 2017-2018, a total of 363 medical doctor students had enrolled in the program.

Doctor of Medicine Application Requirements

Due to the broad nature of the Doctor of Medicine program, Arizona State University offers applicants three different application options, namely, Freshman, Transfer, International, and Readmission. These options have different admission requirements, and it is your responsibility to determine which option best suits your needs. Some of the requirements that you must meet to be considered for this program include a 3.0 GPA in competency courses, an ACT score of 22, and an SAT score of 1,120 for nonresidents. Essays and letters of recommendation are not required when applying for this course. In order for your application to be considered, you will be required to pay an application fee of $50 or $70 if you are an Arizona resident or a domestic nonresident, respectively. If you are an international student, you will be required to part with $85.

Doctor of Medicine Application Deadline

The application deadline for Freshman applicants is 22nd August 2020, while that of international students is 1st May 2020. Transfer applicants have until 1st April 2020, for Fall Classes and 1st November 2020, for Spring classes. Readmission applicants, on the other hand, have up until 1st May 2020, to lodge their applications.

Arizona State University Master of Education Admission Requirements

In order for you to be considered for this program, you must have a minimum GPA score of 3.0. If you are an international applicant, you will be required to provide test scores from IELTS or TOEFL that illustrate your English proficiency. For you to be considered for a Master of Education, you must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or a TOEFL score of 90+. You must also submit your personal statement that demonstrates your goals, have at least three professional recommenders, and a resume. GRE or GMAT tests are only required for applicants willing to pursue a Ph.D. in Master of Education. You must also have earned a bachelor’s degree or a higher program from a recognized institution from the country or state of the applicant. The application fee is $70.

Arizona State University Law School Admission Requirements

Arizona State University has set a wide array of requirements that must be met by each applicant aspiring to join the Law school. Some of these requirements include a personal statement of no more than 1,250 words, a resume not exceeding three double-spaced pages, and a writing sample. Two letters of recommendation that must be submitted by the recommender and transcripts from the previous institutions must also be submitted. A minimum GPA score of 3.76 is required. If you are an international student, you must provide English proficiency scores administered by either TOEFL or IELTS. You must have an IELTS score of 7.0 or TOEFL score of 600. The institution has waived the 2020 application fee, and therefore, you can take advantage of it and lodge your application as soon as possible.
